An Artist's Journey

If there is a message Tania can give about her painting life, it is to never, ever give up. If a dream dies, find a way to wake it up. And embrace the disability. We all have something we are dealing with.

She is a self taught watercolour Illustrator based on the countryside of Denmark.

The creative strokes has always been a part of her since childhood. she always had a deep love for animals and she could spent hours on animal drawings.  Life at home was chaotic and her drawing became a way to process her ever struggling world. Life went on with growing up, education,  jobs, marriage, and kids and her dream of becoming an artist faded away.

However Tanias first lines have developed over the years even though time was short she never stopped creating art and she explored several different media. such as acrylic, charcoal, markers, coloured pencils, watercolours, and pastels 

As Tania grew older, she knew that art was her true calling and she constantly seeked art knowledge through books and classes about various medias and techniques 

Her first watercolours strokes was far from perfect. A flowing wild and out of control media that challenged her in every way. but she was captured in the delicate transparent interplay of colours and textures. and her desire to master watercolours made her accept that mistakes are inevitable and mastering watercolours is an eternal learning. 

Finding Tanias unique style and artistic identity takes time and she still make a lot of experimentation, with combining watercolours with other medias as ink and chargoal and there are still lots of moments of self-doubt and uncertainty, on her journey to be recognised as an artist. But being an artist is about more than just success and recognition. It's about the process of creation, the joy of expressing, and the constant growth and learning. It's about pushing boundaries, taking risks, and embracing the unexpected

Throughout her journey, she learned that creating art is not a choice of making an income, but a way of life. It's about staying true to yourself and following your passion.
